What type of information we have:
Information we collect includes the details supplied in order to complete a request, this information includes name, contact number, email address & in the instances where a home-visit is requested, personal address data stored; information is predominantly collected via our contact form on the website.
Information can also be collected in subsequent follow-up emails & is collected on a case-by-case basis to assist with meeting individuals’ needs.
Information is collected to enable LMWO to carry out the services offered.
The Lawful Basis for collecting information is to contact the customer requesting assistance & to use the information provided to assist with carrying out tasks which will be required in order to complete the work being requested to a satisfactory standard.
Following completion of the work, the only information which will be retained identifying the customer will be their email address – unless requested to be removed, the customer will automatically be added to the LMWO marketing database for future, relevant, communication purposes only.
Customers can contact LMWO directly by email to remove their details from this database – please send an email with the Subject Heading ‘Marketing Communication Removal Request’.

Information about customers & their data may be stored for the period during the time which the work will be carried out as per request.

How we store your information:
Information is kept securely on a cloud-based system; no information is written down except notes which are not identifiable to a customer; these are usually taken whilst visiting a customer & are then transferred to an App where they are saved & protected by a PIN Code / Password which is changed every 4 weeks.
Upon completion of work with a customer, their information is deleted from the Cloud App, the only information which is retained is that of work carried out in order to assist with future cases; this is not attached to customer details which are deleted.
Information is only kept for as long as required; customer data is only retained for the duration of time where work is carried out.
